How to access mute option?

I've been following a few guides now butjust can'tfigure it out. when i press the dashboard button, then settings at the bottom of the dashboard right beside the power button, there is nothing their that says mute or disable mic. Ami doing this wrong? like is there a different button i need to press?

If you're looking to mute yourself you can do it through your watch menu:
1) Open your watch menu
2) Select the gear icon on the top right
3) On the "Audio" tab there is a slider that says "Microphone". Push that slider all the way to the left to "Always off"

If you're looking to mute someone else:
1) Open your watch menu
2) Select the "People" icon and a list of nearby players will appear.
3) Select the player you want to mute and their detail page will pop up.
4) Select the "Mute" button on that player's detail page.

You can also do a quick mute for your mic by moving your hand on front of your mouth.
