Upon entering Rec Room, can't move, no hands

Exactly as the title suggests, when I load into my dorm room, I can look around but I have no hands, can't move/teleport around, and what I assume is supposed to be my avatar is a featureless torso near the registration machine.

Can someone suggest a fix for this? I tried searching but I can't find anyone else reporting this issue.

I have no issues in any other Vive games.

Hi Heckron. Sorry for the delay.

If you're having no issues with other games, I'd try forcing a reinstall of Rec Room, by way of manually ensuring all the Rec Room files in \steamapps\common\RecRoom have been deleted.

To do this, uninstall the game through Steam, and then ensure that folder is gone or empty, and then try reinstalling.

If you've done that already, and you're still seeing the issues, we'd appreciate it if you sent us your log file as described here[www.againstgrav.com], as your issue isn't one we've seen before.

Thank you for your reply! I've done that as you suggested including manually deleting the file folders and reinstalling Steam VR. Still no go. I sent the log to you just now. Please let me know what I can do to fix it because I was able to get in once several weeks ago and had a blast but every other time has been this situation.

Heckron, I'm handing you off to Trango. Your issue appears to be a combination of a bug or two in our code, and/or network issues. He's more familiar with that code, and should be able to find a solution!

In the meantime, do you have any third-party firewalls or strict firewall rules in place?

Not that I'm aware of. I've never had firewall issues with any programs in the past.
