If you're having no issues with other games, I'd try forcing a reinstall of Rec Room, by way of manually ensuring all the Rec Room files in \steamapps\common\RecRoom have been deleted.
To do this, uninstall the game through Steam, and then ensure that folder is gone or empty, and then try reinstalling.
If you've done that already, and you're still seeing the issues, we'd appreciate it if you sent us your log file as described here[www.againstgrav.com], as your issue isn't one we've seen before.
