But for now I'd just like to at least see a simple screen impremented, that acts like one owuld in real life. Everyone just sits down and the videos play on a screen on the wall.
I always assumed that the "under construction" area in the locker room with all the TV's was a hint that something like this could be coming aslong some time.
Some of us might get a bit bored already when in the Event Rooms and whatnot (no sh*t, we're on the many hundred hours playtime already) but for the very most, this is a feature that would just prevent and suck people out of the Locker Rooms, bringing everybody to their private rooms, where instead of having fun, say goofing around trying to make a card castle or prettending to be a barman (enjoying RecRoom), everyone would be standing stiff staring at a screen watching random stuff, thus also killing "inmersion". VRChat and AltSpace VR are examples of this. Dull, somewhat unsuccessful games for the most part.
If anything, maybe a custom Boombox you can input music into. Definitely not a screen.
If you didn't have a TV in your house and had house parties do you think that buying a TV would ruin your parties, because then everyone would just stand around looking at it? lol
