We are incredibly excited to announce ACORN: Seed of Resistance! And to celebrate the opening of our Steam page, we’ve cooked up an announcement trailer.

In short, ACORN is a roguelike adventure with auto-battler combat. Think Disney’s Robin Hood meets Darkest Dungeon, with quick, automatically playing battles that put your increasingly overpowered builds to the test. Between fights, you’ll make your way across an overworld map inspired by games like Heroes of Might and Magic, packed with choices about where to go, what to risk, and how to grow your band of rodents.

As you may have noticed, we’ve enabled the “Sign up for Playtest” button. We recommend giving it a click, although we can’t make any promises just yet about exactly when we’ll start letting people in, or how many spots there’ll be.

Our first Steam playtests will likely be small, but we’ll post all the details right here as we get closer. So make sure to Wishlist the game to follow ACORN and keep up with what we’re working on.
