Can't hack zone 7 overseer? (for real this time!)

title says all, i'm standing at the damn thing, it initiates a number guessing hack, i complete it but nothing happens. the terminal doesn't change to blue and interacting with it says i still need to hack the overseer.

anyone else getting this?

Yup, overseer works fine but I fixed this switch because there should be other minigame in it than master mind sequence.

This switch disables security camera nearby. In case of any doubts, there are always cables connected from switches to devices they disable, so you can use sense mode and track the cable to know what certain switch disables :)

damn it, i knew i was being dumb; yeah i checked the cable path before and thought it stopped on the transit terminal but looking again i see it goes past. ah well, at least now i know i wasn't wrong about it being in that area XD

I'm struggling to hack zone 7's overseer terminal as well. I've searched all round that area to no avail. I think I've found the terminal but when I go up to it nothing happens. Is it always available or is there a main mission I have to complete first?

if your problem is like what i witnessed then that's not the actual terminal, the overseer terminal is directly UNDER the hackable terminal i mentioned, go to the overseer transit point and follow the wall left to a door, the overseer terminal should be there under the one you thought it was.

you'll know if it's the right terminal if you have the minigame where you need to avoid numbers while traveling rightwards.

the door i'm talking about should be on the left side of that staircase, the terminal is in there

also if you ever get a sidequest with the name "light of the firefly" don't start it yet, last i checked it still softlocks the game, should be fixed in the next patch though

when I walk up to it, nothing happens. doesnt let me hack. incidentally "light of the firefly" isnt on my quest list at all

lol that's ironic, i was mistaken when i made this bug report but you've got it for real! XD hopefully they fix it soon. also that was just an FYI in regards to light of the firefly, it's a sidequest so it's avoidable but annoying if you're a completionist like me.

can't say i know any workarounds, suppose you're only option right now is to hold out until they ask for the save file, maybe even start a new thread with the same title if they don't notice this one? it's not a critical terminal so you can play without hacking it, but it is convienient as that is the location for a couple quests

edit: changed the title a little to make it stand out, maybe they'll see it

If it wasn't needed for an achievement I'd ignore it but I only need 4 achievements (game completion, hack all 7 terminals, own 1000 gold (I have over 1000 :( ) and dissolve 5 bodies (never did get the dissolve body schematic :( ). I'm hoping 1.0.8 fixes these bugs

Ok I was able to hack it without any problem. Please send me a save game with this issue at [e-mail] and I will look at it.
