Also, the weight is an issue. Sure it gives a sense of realism & I understand it but we also need to collect quite a lot of crafting materials in order to craft. And let's be honest, there's lots of ingredients/materials to collect from the world.
At least make those/or some of the materials weigh nothing so that we don't need to micro manage everything. Collecting them in first place requires work and if I have to worry abt their weight as well, then it's kinda of a turn off.
This is also one of many aspects that I liked abt Witcher 3 tbh; crafting components didnt weigh there.
This too. Those poor merchants have way too less money. haha. I thought the game has a really cool fast forwarding mechanics but not utilized properly. A lot can be achieved through this.
Lucky you. I was at 250 encumbrance after finishing a puzzle. (Granted, the 6k money didn't hurt, but I had to leave around 80% of all stuff behind so I could even start moving)
But yeah, I agree with OP, a bit more carrying capacity or reducing the weight of items would go a long way to make things easier.
So far I have been using one of the abandon shacks in town to stash all my stuff... nothing has dissapeared yet from the crate I put the stuff in... so atm that's working fine.
Another issue I feel is the POOR merchants! How in the world are we supposed to sell things to them when they at most carry only 50 or so auryte? Perhaps bump up their supply of currency to 500 or atleast refresh their supply every 24hr game time.
Remember that you are a Master Thief. That means you can steal whatever you want. Try to use boxes which lie around the whole island to keep some of the stuff out there.
For spiders - normally any other monster/animal in game respawn every 120 seconds. Only the spider queen is different, as she summons her spiders, so fight with her might be challenging. We will look into the problem and tweak if possible. There is a small hint how to damage spider queen more efficiently - she eats cocoons lying around in the arena to heal herself. Try to place a trap on such cocoon and wait until she eats it.
Take care!

I can't run to loot - they kill me instantly. I can't stealth - to many enemies on small area. I can't kill one by one - they are respawn faster than i kill.
- The queen wasn't the problem. She's slow and stupid and easily dodged. Also she gets stuck in the landscape if you lure her up the hill. Defeating her was hilariously easy because of this
Also the big faucet at the top of her lair does nothing when activated. It pours some green liquid on top of the queen but I didn't see any effect.
Problem was that after I beat her, a bunch of spiders showed up, and I was encumbered because the queen had a big axe on her which I wanted to drag to my stash. So I had to fight 3 agile enemies while being encumbered as hell.
I mean the balance is off when the minions are way tougher than the big bad boss
Bandit camp?
88 of each traps, darts and granades. 30 of each syringe .
but why do i need gold in this game ? there is nothing to spend it on ,
the only thing i can think of, is if you could upgrade ur safehouse oe something
