Really bad performance/optimisation
Seven: The Days long gone. Is draastically limited by the CPU clock. The games does not take adavntage of multi threading to much. Has no problems displaying 2560x1440 as you can see in the linked picture. Yet the 4.0 Ghz of my i7-6820HK is not sufficient to provide more than 40 FPS at times... https://1drv.ms/i/s!An6sVWggT749iboOWx0v-X8T_uOHOA

I wonder how hard was it to default the FPS limit not at 30 in the game settings but at 150, for PC platform... To avoid whiners and all the stupid negativity that originates from the ignorance

I'm getting exactly the same although admittedly I have a woeful GPU, a 950m and a good, I think, cpu a i7 6700, However i get good framerates at max settings with everything on epic but shadows on low, which basically gets rid of all the shadows but you can't have everything I guess if you don't meet the specs...The shadows are obviously where the problems lie though if someone would like to patch it?!..Also if a developer is reading there are a few easily correctable English spelling mistakes in the loading screens. Must say am loving loving the game, incredible universe. Congrats.

It would have been a breeze if you just had taken the time to read the comments in the thread.

Like it stands now the only really stupid negativity origins from - well - your post.

Your sarcasm is misplaced, easily-offendable-one. I've read this and similar threads already (which gave me a headache from the sheer amounts of stupidity in em), the problems steam from the inability to use the graphics tuning software that comes with the drivers package + inability to tune the settings of the game itself. This isn't the first time the masses complain about so-called "optimization" (which is a BS term anyways) while in fact they can't even lift a finger to try and actually use the brain for a second ^^ They want everything to work flawlessly out of the box.

Writing this you proove that you have not read every post as the problem for some of us is ont solved by disabeling FPS lock or tuning down shadows. But hey, if it makes you feel important, big, or happy just carry on...

I actually have the same CPU clocked at the same speed, my GPU is a 1060, also maximum settings. I do get 80+ FPS outside of towns, but the moment I enter a town, I go down to 30 FPS, in the capital I went down to 15 FPS at times.

Do you get 80 FPS in towns? Because if you do, there might be some issue with newer GPUs maybe...

I have a 7820 processor 32GB RAM, and GTX 1080TI and this game runs fairly poorly for me as well. Frame rate hiccups mainly at various points in the game. I also can't play on EPIC settings as they lag, but HIGH is decent with frame rate hiccups every once in a while. Needs some work for sure in the performance area.

I7 4770
16 GB DDR 3
1080 TI
500GB EVO SSD
ACER PREDATOR X34

RUNNING AT 3440X1440 100% RES SCALE EPIC SETTINGS
80-100 FPS INTRO LEVELS
PEH IS AROUND 45-50

CHANGING SETTINGS, TURNING OFF AA, CHANGING RES SCALE ETC DOEST DO MUCH DIFFERENCE.

SORRY 4 CAPS, NOT GOING TO GO BACK NOW & CHANGE =)

I found another seven.exe file in one of the folders that says windows 64 shipped is this the preferred file to run?

Not sure if latest patch did anything (or I'm growing used to it), but it seems to be running a wee bit smoother...!

I'm also wondering on the game's performance myself. I can handle it quite fine with my i7-6700k and GTX 1080ti at 1440p 144hz, but it seems to e driving my GPU temp quite high. Games like FFXIV, Witcher 3 and others don't seem to drive the game anywhere as high as Seven has done with so far.

(Also I've been on the latest GPU driver for some time now).

Processor: Intel i5-4590 3.30ghz
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GTX 970 4GB

I'm using Windows 7.

I get low fps spikes, freezes or stutters during general gameplay but upon entering the city-like areas the fps gets worse. Turning all the settings down still gives less than 20 fps in what seemed like random spots and an unstable -20 to 40 fps when running through the streets.

Just for reference:

i7-4790k@4GHz
GTX 980Ti
16GB RAM
Win 10 Pro N (+ Media Feature Pack)

Running with
3840 x 2160
Reslution Scale 80%
Anti Aliasing OFF

I get constant 50-60 FPS

EDIT: Except when in the Repositorium ♥♥♥♥ hits the fan they spike to 30-40..

The patch did nothing for my performance. Still constant stutter and my framerate fluctuates between 25-55 with the frame rate locked at 60. If I lock it at 30, it's still a stuttering mess, bouncing around the 25-30 fps range constantly.

This is on a 1060 3 gig, i5 7400, 8 gig RAM, Windows 10 with latest update (including windows mixed reality update)
