Crashing After 60-70 Seconds (SOLVED)

(BELOW IS THE PROBLEM, AT THE VERY END IS THE SOLUTION)
The game crashes without fail after around a minute open. No "fatal error," task manager doesn't show that it isn't responding, it just closes itself completely without warning. The game is unplayable. I've emailed and heard nothing back. I've already put in a refund request but I'm willing to keep the game AND EVEN RE-BUY IT if the freaking developers would even acknowledge this.

Resolution: disconnect from the internet then launch the game. Once it's open you can reconnect and the game will remain open.

This is bad.,.....Like....do the devs still exist as a company? If this is still being put on sale, this NEEDS to be fixed....

Is there a fix to this other than "Disconnect your internet"? I use to be able to play this no problem when first bought game. This should be embarrassing for the devs.

No, and it seems like the devs got their money out of the game and said ♥♥♥♥ everyone else.
