Firewall blocked seven-win64-shipping.exe from accessing local network and internet?!
What does it do? Why it needs accessing local network? Why it needs accessing Internet?

I already installed many games and didn't get a such warning, so i need to know, is it some proprietary update or newsfeed thing?

Hi!

This access is needed for example for achievements registering, so Seven needs to be connected to internet and Steam.

Hmm, but that's not normal behavior, because normaly this goes over steamapi and steam is of course allowed to access internet, but the exe itself shouldn't request it. I also did block it and achievements still work.

But well the Game crashed alot 'Fatal Error' here and 'UE has crashed' there, happens often after chaotic stuff and sometimes it simply CTD without any message.

Windows 10 also reported 'RADAR: Pre-Leak' which could mean there is a memory leak or the game requests memory in a non-default way. But seeing how often it crashed, i suppose a memory leak somewhere.

Can you please send me crash minidumps at quest@foolstheory.com along with your dxdiag? We would like to investigate and provide a fix asap. You can find crash minidumps in: C:\Users\MyUser\AppData\Local\Seven\Saved\Logs. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

Alright, i will pack the folders in there into a zip an send it to that emailaddress.

And thanks too, apart of those crashes and some strange stutters the game is fine and also very addictive, i just have a 41h session behind me and now need some sleep! ;)

for my case this is probably operating separately because I'm downloaded the game off of Microsoft store via game pass for PC but thank you to the responding party I now know it was not something dangerous or unneeded
