Controller or KB+Mouse?

Downloading atm and wondering whats the best control type for this game? is there much ranged shooting/targeting or is all auto target based?

i want to know too since i prefer playing with controller but i simply can not do that if ranged combat is involved :D

You have similar controlls in combat like in Dark Souls. You can lock your target etc. So it’s easy to use controller even for k+m masters. I play both. K+m when I’m sitting at desk and with controller when I’m playing from couch looking at tv. Hard to say what’s better. It’s personal preference. Both working quite well.

With the isometric perspective I was thinking keyboard + mouse would be the way to go but after playing for a little bit I definitely prefer controller.

Yes. You have crossbows, energetic pistols/rifles, darts, shotgun, magic skills.

The game is sadly and painfully very obviously intended for plebware, and the controls are frankly awful on keyboard.

Yeah, I'm salty, because a PC game should be optimized for PC controls. Mouse/Keyboard is objectively superior, control-wise, for a wide number of reasons, and still choosing to prioritize controller is insane; but more than that, having *this* poor PC controls is simply unforgivable.

who said pc gaming is only about K&M???
however came with that logic first is a complete tard
PC gaming is about every thing and thats why it's superior to any thing else
plus Controller is more fun for any game type except shooters and RTS
i normally don't buy any game that don't have full controller support

and you as someone i'm sure he pirated the game you shouldn't be here complaining about the game controls

A few hours in I can say the game plays really well on controller. When throwing rocks there seems to be an auto target function, I have not tried other ranged weapons yet but I presume they are the same.

Have not tried keyboard and mouse, to be honest have no reason too the game is a really good at allowing you to relax and just play with a controller.

If you want edge of your seat intense keyboard mouse control interaction play something like mount and blade warband multiplayer.

I play with KB/M. Not sure what specific complaints there can be about KB/M controls...
