Nostro Mod
Hey guys.

With Zero Company being unplayable for me, and my itch for SRPG is still there, i thought i would hop into this game again, but with the Nostro Mod.

Has anyone played with it?
How is it?

...This game has mods?
Only very little on nexusmods, you can check them out.
I also tested the Nostro Mod right from a new start, and it might be too much.

The first real mission (where you have Sion for the first time), enemies have 600 armor with the mod, where they usually have 150. Which completly renders most of the damage useless.
When, I created my mod, I was playing Mal mod. So, my mod is mostly oriented around the end game. However, people played it with a new company, and they were fine.

The problem you are facing is related to one of the recent changes I made to item scaling. I made so, if you upgrade a low level item (for example, Elluote) to +9, it will have the same main stat as a level 60 item upgraded to +9.

This is a nice feature for endgame. However, it causes problems for a new game. Since enemies have their armor upgraded to approximately +4, they gain a lot of armor.

I know how to fix this problem, but right now I cannot afford to spend much time on modding. Right now, you can disable this feature and enable it (if you want) at around level 50.

To disable this feature, set the following variables in settings.py

MODIFY_UPGRADE_SCALING = False
MINIMUM_QUALITY_OF_UPGRADE_MATERIALS = 1

After that, reinstall the mod.
Ahhh so thats what it was.
I thought it had to do with the items, because i checked the tooltip and all items hat like 200 armor.

Thanks a lot for you quick answer.
Will check it out.

Yeah but the modders suck at making em visible. Who the hell gonna find a mod called this

When it is a great mod with new characters, new masteries etc. ? What's it called? No idea.
Whatever the above means?

Mod Introduction:
Adds an event for Luna to join your team. After installing the MOD and completing all story missions (including all DLCs), a new event "Mysterious Visitor" will appear in the top-right corner. Triggering it will allow Luna to join your party (the event is relatively simple, as the focus wasn't on deep plot development).

Adds new advanced classes (Awakenings) and corresponding masteries. Albus's Awakening enhances counter-attacks, allowing for ranged counters and multiple triggers. Sion's Awakening improves his range and Flash Wave skill. Irene's Awakening adds multi-hit capabilities and the ability to multicast. Giselle's Awakening enhances beast taming, allowing her to tame all beasts and increase her summon limit. Kylie can craft and use advanced machines like Byclones and Ruinators (parts are sold in shops). Heissing's sweep and random reaction attacks are enhanced, and more.

Adds a new equipment set: the Sky-Lord's Peerless series. Its effects are active as long as all pieces are equipped, regardless of the in-game set bonus prompt. This new equipment is superior to all previous sets and becomes available in the shop after a character's Awakening.

Adds new missions, some of which are still in testing.

Adds new, optional difficulty challenges that significantly increase the game's difficulty.

Adds new, optional extra-difficulty options to expand gameplay possibilities.
