Where is ESC button?)
I'd like to play my favourite game on tablet PC. There is no hardware keyboard, the virtual one only. Game supports touch good enough - I can manage cities, move units etc. But I can't save game neither exit it - I can't push esc on keyboard (because of no keyboard exists :D). Is there any way to call game menu by tap on some screen area? Or may be some kind of gesture? Help, please!

There is no way to open the menu without a keyboard. I'd say to use the quicksave but for that aswell, you'll need a keyboard.

I've got a tablet "pc" aswell and that one came with a keyboard that I could attach to it.

That said, the game SHOULD autosave the moment you press end turn and the moment your new turn starts.

As for exiting the game, find the medieval2.preference.cfg and add

Windowed = 1
Borderless_window = 1 to it and then simply make the res smaller than your screen, so you can use taskbar or something.

No, you just click continue campaign in the main menu

Why can't you use the virtual one? Surely there has to be some sort of 'overlay' option otherwise why allow PC games to be installable to a tablet?

W10 can be installed on tablets thus it'll function akin to a laptop and pc.
