Having issues with the game crashing. Need dev help.

After launching the game, usually within the first 5 seconds to maximum of couple of minutes, my game will stop responding. It doesn't close the game by itself, it just stops responding randomly, and never comes back alive until I close and relaunch the game.

What I tried so far was:
* I have hard drive space on all drives
* newest graphics driver / tried reinstalling it
* my cpu/gpu/ram isn't struggling or overheating.
* verified integrity of game
* reinstalled the game multitude of times, on different drives, still crashes

My i7 8700k and rtx 2070 super can handle the game just fine.

The crashing only occurs in main menu. Once the loading bar of loading into the game completes, I no longer have any issues. This crash / non-responding issue only happens in menu part of the game, which I think is very important to localizing the actual cause.

Right now I'm pretty much unable to play, and I really need some help with this.
I can upload unity's Player.logs, but I can't see anything that would suggest the cause.

Hey, that is really strange, I never heard of an issue like this before. Can you do me a favor and please try to reproduce the freeze in the main menu and then quit the game, get your lobby logs (Browse to Legion TD 2 > Dev > Logs > <-- zip this folder). Then get your player.logs and players-prev.log and create a new ticket here + upload the logs so we can track this issue easier: https://legiontd2.com/bugs

Also just to clarify, were you able to play fine before or is this something that happened from the first moment you launched the game?

For now I don't have any other ideas besides reinstalling but sounds like you already tried it multiple times on different harddrives. Maybe some antivirus or other third party service could be interfering with the game so it might be worth trying to figure out if thats the case.

I don't actually run an antivirus - even the built-in windows realtime protection is turned off. I only have firewall on.

As for software, I guess there could be some culprit somewhere, but I tried killing every process known to man before launching the game, and it still starts being unresponsive in the main menu.

The game was crashing from the beginning, yes. Sometimes the frequency of the crashes was lower, but it could just be coincidence, I guess.

I packed a folder from yesterday 10.19, in which I crashed about 30 times in total trying to get into games. Sometimes I manage to get in without a crash/freeze, but it takes 10 crashes/freezes in between each game to be able to play, which the logs will clearly show you.
