I got 300 premium essences from the guild i joined which has a lot of veteran players but i can not really contribute much to the progression since its looked behind donating cards which i cant with my pity score of 500.
I won't sugar coat it. It wasn't financially viable for us to offer skins for essence. As an independent studio with no external funding, we're barely making ends meet. For what it's worth, skins are achievable by playing - with membership in a guild. Some players have already earned 700 Essence from guilds, which is enough for two skins. Realistically, some amount of money would be required to get most or all of the skins. Even if you disagree, I hope you understand where we're coming from.
I agree with what you said about how making skins achievable by playing encourages activity. That's something we can consider more with a larger player base. We are working to grow the player base this coming weekend with a big promotion and next year with the full release of the game.
Also, just to comment, none of the skins are recolors. They all have new texture designs. Most of them have new VFX. And Safety Mole M.D. has a new model/rig.
Thanks again for your love of the game.
