Bears a vague inscription that appears to read "Crampershank" beneath a shining star

Description: Filled with ancient curses and facts about death written in spider-like scribbles. Fascinating, if a little off-putting.

New Item: Cartimeus' Pendant

Item Type: Amulet

Found: Purchasable

Rarity: Legendary

Stats: +10% Spirit Lingering Chance, +10 Max Mana

Description: The magick of a Foreteller is imbued within. Appears to whisper quietly, always truths, always lies, always futures

New Item: Deet's Brush

Item Type: Brush (Tool)

Stats: +10% Familiar Damage, +100% Familiar Health (While Held)
Applies a Familiar Health buff for 30 mins when used

Description: Covered in rough brittles, clearly worn down by frequent use against a sharp Familiar

New Item: Vesper's Locket of Lost Things

Stats: +100% Healing Taken, +25 Max Mana

Description: A small amulet that appears larger on the inside. Made up of small screws, trinkets, and one unidentified object that hums encouragingly.

New Item: Al'uunian Broom

Item Type: Broom

Found: ???

Rarity: Random (Rare to Legendary)

Stats: +25% Broom Speed

Description: A common sight in the vast skies of the Al'uunian Empire

• New Building Category: Special

  Building Pieces such as the 'Early Bird Cosmetics Pack' will now be unlocked by default and found in this category.

  

• Asterine Gems are now purchasable from a particular shop, replacing the Semla (it's out of season anyway!)

• Reworked Drop Tables for Al'uunian foes to add more variety

• Al'uunian Protectors now have a new attack

• Reworked VFX for some of Shudder Matriarch's attacks

• Vex now has a unique appearance

• Carsce now has a unique appearance

• Fixed a bug where status effects would not be properly removed if a creature falls in battle

• Fixed an issue where Fullscreen setting would sometimes reset itself

• Fixed a spot where players could get stuck in the Corruption Tunnel of the Dream Between Worlds

• Fixed several collision bugs in the Dream Between Worlds

• Fixed a bug where players could be unable to drink the potion at the start of the game

• Reworked the collision of large trees to let players move between the branches more freely

• Fixed a bug where shift-clicking a full item stack would drop it

• Fixed an issue where 'Move' and 'Copy' buttons in Build Mode were missing localization

• Fixed an animation looping issue for Shudder

• Fixed several Dungeon issues

• Fixed an issue where Crafting Speed bonuses weren't being applied properly

• Fixed an issue where a Quol's wings could become rotated incorrectly

• Fixed an issue where Corrupted Wands had an unintended flashing effect when fired

First of all - let's be clear, that's not a Familiar pun. Definitely not. We'd never.

A little while ago, we partnered up with the glorious folks at Natural Six to run a Witchspire-themed D&D one-shot adventure! The five new items added in today's update are inspired by the characters they created. If you've missed it, head on over and take a look. You're in for a five-hour adventure like none other.

It's now been just under a month since Witchspire came out, this marks the 9th Patch since then, and we're now starting to slow down the pace of updates a bit for a much needed summer break before shifting focus back to the major updates which we revealed in our Roadmap:

Before A Touch of Magic releases, we intend on shipping several highly requested Quality of Life improvements and fixes, such as:

• Adding Sort buttons for Chests & Inventory

• Adding a "Quick Deposit" feature for Chests

• Improving Controller Support

• Further Improving Inventory Management

• Addressing Desync issues in Multiplayer

• Addressing Quest issues

We continue to scan the forums and Discord for your feedback and suggestions. Even if we cannot answer everything, do know that all your input is super appreciated and helping us make Witchspire the best it can be.

We generally believe that larger more substantial updates are more impactful to the game than smaller ones, and as a relatively small team, shipping regular updates takes a large amount of time and focus. In other words, we expect to ship fewer small updates and shift toward larger ones going forward. This is likely our final update for July as we're in much need of a break after such a big launch!

With that said, we can't wait to get back to more Witchspire very soon.

Welcome to our very first special event for Witchspire: Celestial Bloom!

During this event, which lasts between June 26 (17:00 CEST) and June 29 (12:00 CEST) Celestial Familiars are more likely to spawn. They're still very rare, but If ever there was a time to venture out in seek of a Celestial, this is it.

Whether you've already bonded a few or have yet to discover a Celestial Familiar, more is always better!

What's a Celestial Familiar?

A very rare sight indeed. Any bondable familiar can spawn as a sparkling Celestial variant. It boasts slightly higher health than other Familiars, and the ultimate bragging rights if bonded.

Can a Familiar also be a Shifty?

Yes! Bondable Familiars can spawn as a Shifty variant, meaning they have a different colour than their common counterparts. Shifty Familiars can also spawn as Celestials.

Can a Familiar be Shifty, Celestial AND Legendary all at once?

Why yes. Hold my incense.

Whether Shifty, Celestial or a combination of both. All bondable Familiars can also spawn with rarity, represented in stars next to their name.

A Legendary (3 Star) Familiar, which is also a Shifty as well as a Celestial, would be an incredibly special sight indeed. To our knowledge, at the time of writing this, no player has yet discovered one.
