Any thoughts on why this game has so few reviews?
Game looks and sounds really exciting. Why then does it have so few reviews? I'm a bit hesitant to get a game when under 1,000 people reviewed it...

"Made in Canada? This is gonna be AWESOME!!!"
...said no one ever.

There's tons of good games out there, but *failed at marketing*.

It's a niche genre. Few people are looking for beat em ups on Steam, so you're depending on other people to talk about it.

2D is less popular than 3D.

It's competing with thousands of other games. It's a very saturated market.

Other than that, I'm not sure. The game has one of the easiest learning curves, offers replayability because it has bronze/silver/gold medals, and quality everywhere you look. The only thing it's missing is tits and boobs.

It's an awesome game to play coop. I think i finished it four times with a friend of mine in local coop, it's one of the best local coop games i've played lately. Great pacing, sometimes difficult but not too difficult. Definitely worth buying!

Beat em ups are quite the niche, especially when River City Girls and Streets of Rage made comebacks carrying nostalgia in their titles.

But the funny thing is that this isn't even your usual beat em up game.
Gameplay-wise? I could compare it to Supergiant Games' Hades because of the rush it gives. It's closer to a hack-n-slash roguelite than it is a beat em up if I'm being honest.

I guess this misrepresentation of its strengths is part of the reason why the marketing was unsuccessful.

The art style really isn't to blame, there's a ton of 2D games out there that are more successful than 3D games, it's out of the question.

I just hope this game gets another chance to get on the map, maybe through a beat em up sale on steam or something.

Unfortunately, I just don't think this game is that good. It's monotonous and isn't half as interesting as Fight-n-Rage. See my review.

Good question! I got the game from a bundle and after reading the short description, I initially didn't even want to give it a try.

Now, I'm glad I did. This doesn't play like a beat-em-up game, at all. And it actually plays really well using the keyboard. I haven't played much, yet, but my first impression is good. Campaign mode appears to be quite motivating and there's seems to be a lot of stuff to unlock.
