Hi there!

My name is Jordan and I'm the sole developer of this game, and this is my first game (that I decided was good enough to develop more and publish). I just wanted to make a quick introduction, announcement, post in case anyone was interested in the game and wanted to know a little bit more about where it's currently at and, if anyone is REALLY interested, a bit about myself and the game.

I'm currently expecting to release the game in July of 2026 and am very very hard at work finding and fixing bugs before release (more on that below).

Well, the game itself is what I'm calling content complete. All of the launch content I want to deliver a complete experience is built and in the game and will be available at launch.

Currently, the game works and runs really well on PC/desktop and the majority of the bugs I'm finding are exclusive to the steamdeck which is a huge relief.

The multiplayer was added to the game because I really loved playing trick towers with my friends, and wanted a way to share this game with them as well. So I created a quick arcadey game mode that I could play with friends. It's not been a focus of the game so far, but I just couldn't help myself! Hopefully you guys find it as fun as I have.

This one is a little tougher, I have been working on a demo version of the game, but I didn't realise at the time I needed to get seperate permissions on the backend to upload the demo for the game. So, I'm currently working hard on this so it'll be available as soon as possible. Sorry for any delays, but it will be released soon.

I'm a Bridge Engineer living and working full time in Australia. A few years ago, I decided to learn a bit more about coding and development with the idea of creating my own specialized engineering software. But, as I did, I realized I wasn't really interested by that, and instead decided to pursue coding and development with my favourite hobby, gaming.

I started out by following youtube guides and tutorials I could find online and built small games in little arenas I made in DND map making software to learn the ropes a little bit but after a while, while listening to the audiobooks for Dune and To Sleep in a Sea of Stars, I wanted to make a sci-fi game!

So thats where it started, then I wanted to choose a genre and chose my favourite, rougelite. Mostly because at the time when I made the decision to make a game, I was listening to those books and playing Hades. So, I ended up with a sci-fi rougelite.

The next decision was what would make this game unique, what was going to give it a hook. The inspiration for this being myself, and every engineer I've met throughout my career. Basically, anytime I've been given a task by a manager I've taken it a step further to build spreadsheets to automate tasks that I don't have but might one day, done extra design that isn't strictly necessary (or so I've been told) but might be useful to someone somewhere. Essentially, every major project I was given, I'd end up wasting at least some time tinkering with my own projects.

From there it was working out how to bring it all together to make it fun. I used a lot of assets I purchased from itch, or making my own (as you'll see from the steam achievements and one of the in game events) or editing those assets I'd purchased myself to create damage states or derelicts. Music and SFX were likewise the same, I don't have the incredible talent to make those myself, so I did have to go looking for them wherever I could find them.

Well, my first priority after release will be to have a celebratory dinner with my wife! She's sacrificed a lot to allow me the time and energy to spend working on this. But, as for the game itself, in no particular order:

• Then fixing any issues anyone (including myself) finds in the game to ensure everyone has the best possible experience.

• I've also built the game, or...rebuilt the game so I can add localization. When I can afford to do so, I want to add some extra languages to the game.

• I have some ideas for new weapons, engineering events, ships and things to explore and find, so I do have more content I want added into the game.

• I recently had an idea for a co-op mode for the game, which is in an incredibly early state (as in its basically just drawings on a napkin kind of early) but I'd like to work towards that as well.

• Anything else that really strikes my curiosity and would fit within the game.
