EPOCH or Nother?

For the Steam Summer Sale, I'm trying to decide if I should get EPOCH or Nother, as I have a feeling I'll enjoy them since I love this kind of game but I'm not completely sure. If I enjoy the first one I play enough I'll get the second, but I want to know which one you guys think will make for the best first experience (is the most polished, least buggy, funnest, deepest, with the better story, etc). Thanks in advance!

sorry for the late reply. EPOCH is longer, has more story, but is slightly less polished and clunkier. Nother is open ended, shorter, much more polished and refined, and has better gamepad support. Both have ups/downs, but I'd recommend EPOCH since more people seemed to like it.
