Changing Resolution and Key Bindings
Hey everyone. As some of you asked about how to change in-game resolution, as well as key bindings, there is a method to do so, but you have to do it in the game's Setup.ini file, which is located in the game folder.

Changing Resolution

1. Scroll all the way down to the last few lines in the Setup.ini file.
2. You'll notice words such as 'width' and 'height'. By default I set those as 1280 x 768, but you can change that to whatever you like.
3. Although note, if you change resolution and load an already existing save file, you'll get a minor bug with the HUD display. When going to the next level, however, the bug will no longer be present.

Changing Key Bindings

1. The Setup.ini file has several lines in it labelled as 'Key 1', 'Key 2', etc. Though it uses codes rather than names.
2. Many people expressed a dislike for the 'Enter' key being used to interact. The game's interact key is Key 7. By default it is set to a value 28 (which is Enter). If you change it to 33, the interact key will now be F.

Let us know if you have any questions and thank you for the support. :)

Thank you.

why don't you just put in a normal options menu like every other game since, forever?

Its too hard, apparently.

Well, FPS Creator is quite a limited engine and doesn't have that function by default. I've not yet figured out how to include an options menu in it. That's my honest answer. Though since there is a way to change resolution and key bindings in Setup.ini, I'll be glad to help out anyone who's having problems with it.

lol, I'm recording a full playthrough of the game and I thought about reading discussions forum only now :steamfacepalm:

Thanks for the workaround, it does actually work as you described

Brill. Hopefully the game is enjoyable despite its shortcomings. :)

Not at the moment. It's still something I am hoping to come back to at some point, but at the moment I am not certain if I am able to create something that will improve upon the flaws of this one. :)

thnx, everything is just fine with the game, but the movies won't play! The screen went black, I also can jump over the black screen with a mouse click but they just don't play!
