I know it's antithetical to their whole schtick, but I play healthy rat. Rush to Medicine, and then a single Shaman per zone can heal everyone fast enough to keep them healthy all of the time. It permanently makes you 40% more productive than every other clan. Yes it means you have to run a Brewery, but you are so much more productive than everyone else that it doesn't matter.

Beyond that, their Relic is absurdly powerful, so get it ASAP. Garm's Incarnation is the most OP unit in the game.

Leave as many Wolves dens as you can to keep farming for your pyres.
