Clan idea : Angrboda, moray eel clan of witches
Angrboda, the giant wife of Loki, mostly known for being the mother of Fenrir the monster wolf, Hel the goddess of death and of course Jormungandr the world sea snake. She's especially assimilated to the old giant/troll women/witch living in a special forest of midgard, where she gave birth to many jotuns, as monster wolves and feed them.

Angrboda, the giant sea snake clan (ex : moray eel head icon) is a mysterious and frightening clan, so called home of witches dealing with the most spiteful entities. Living mostly in forests, from where they get their cursed powers, they’re also rumored to sacrifice if not eat people they can lure into their dreadful lands…

Clan specifics :

- witchcraft hut replaces scout camp, witchcraft hut allows to summon mares, costing no villager but 20 lore and rising instead (20, 24, 28 lore and so on) they count as troops but first 2 mares are summoned for free. The hut also allows to summon a fossegrim once a year for 50 lore (need 200 fame). Upgrading the witchcraft hut allows mares to scout enemy territory.

- mares are stealthy spirits (new unit, kobold reskin) thus applying happiness malus on enemy territory as able to explore without aggroing (1 mare = 1 scout) They can fight animals, monsters as neutral factions (H : 40, A : 8, D : 5, 50 % miss chance for projectiles) if player decides them to.

- warchieftaine is an old female witch/troll (H : 100, A : 16, D : 15) to be summoned (costing 200 food, 80 wood and 80 lore) in the witchcraft hut (cost no lore if clan owns a forest) which produces lore and is stealthy in forests only. She also regen her health as can heal spirits and monsters (mares as trolls) when in a forest (can’t produce lore when healing or fighting) and not fighting nor ill. However she becomes a stone statue in summer if outside of a forest (can be mined for 20 stones then, losing health in the process though) but can come back to life after summer for half its price or for free in winter, if not completely mined before then, which would be her death.


Clan lore :

Production :

- « forest spirits » : carved stones give +1,5 happiness and produce 50 % more lore, +3 happiness and produce twice as lore when in a forest. (replacing recruitment)

- « world trees » : warchieftaine as mares can use the giant tree of a forest tile to teleport themselves from a neutral or controlled forest to another. (replacing happy people)

Military :

- « ambush » : troops have 20 % more attack power and even 30 % more attack power in forests. (replacing weaponsmith)

Economy :

- « forest gifts » : trading post usual bonuses are 50 % better when trading post is in a forest (meaning 20 % anywhere and 30 % in a forest) and each commercial route with jotuns gives +1 happiness.

- « friends and family » : usual commercial routes as neutral relations bonuses are doubled with jotuns (meaning 20 % as usual but 40 % more kröwns as 40 % faster relations with jotuns only).

Fame bonuses :

- Fame 200, "Heart stealer" : a fossegrim (new unit, reskin from myrkalfar) armed with a fiddle can be summoned in any explored enemy tile with a lake for 1 month and starts playing music, giving a +1 happiness bonus to the targetted player for the duration. Population on enemy territory is thus not afraid (no warning to enemy player but the music, no happiness loss) and the targetted player can simply make it vanish (he cannot attack it) for 100 food, by mere selecting it and offering the price to the giant sea snake clan. If not, up to 4 villagers and/or 2 basic troops are actually abducted (can not abduct giants or mercs) to be granted, when fossegrim eventually vanishes by the end of the month, to giant sea snake clan for free in his home tile.

- Fame 500, "Night-mare" : mares can now attack explored tiles of enemy territory like any regular troops, towers attack them though due to happiness malus. Fossegrim can be summoned twice a year (second costs 80 lore, gives a +2 happiness bonus to targetted player but reclaims 160 food or else 6 villagers and/or 3 troops)

Relic :

Jarnvidr : can summon 2 female trolls (new unit, reskin from giant) to appear in any explored enemy forest on the map and attack it. When a forest is controlled this way, trolls regain health while in the forest and regularly repop (2 trolls max in each forest) as randomly attack (from one to two trolls at random) an adjacent tile up to 2 tiles (if two trolls are attacking separatly) of the controlled forest(s) like a neutral faction as with each use of the relic on another forest by the giant sea snake player. Trolls forever become stone statues in summer if outside of a forest though, then they can so be mined for 20 stones.

Lions Pride

Unlike most of the clans of Northgard the Lion is not a group based off the main stream Danish of the lands or those who we call the Nordish they are the Nordish who populated the western boarder’s plains slowly becoming what they resented but quickly becoming comfortable with who they became. The Pride clan is a group like the Stag they are those work more on trades rather than war however if pushed to War as an alternative they excel well in the battlefield and off in the trade routes. Discipline honor is what they value above all else they look towards the future to advance and become stronger with the time forsaking the old way.













Unit tree:

• Barracks

Footman: Attack: 7 Armor: 8 Hp: 55
Footman are armed with a sword and shield also heavy refined armor. The footman Are trained to be slightly more durable than a shield man or shieldmaiden un like most Viking approach the Lions pride build off durability rather than power. Although they take the place of a warrior they possess the ability of shield man given they reduce all incoming damage due to their thick armor and shield.

passive ability Armor and Shield “25 less damage”

upgrade to Pride Champion by training in the Monarchy using influence points.

Pride Champion: Attack: 10 Armor: 10 Hp: 60
Armed with the knowledge of the Monarchy and tempered through the heralds of combat brings the Pride Champions. They are able take the damage as well as deal the damage for they are more durable than a footman and knowledgeable they make the perfect symbol for the army.

passive ability Sundering Blade ignore armor 20%

upgrade to
“Hero type” only one unit can upgrade through “Monarchy building” after the tech Champion of the Pride is researched, then a train Pride Champion must be the one who receive the training from the Monarchy again to receive heroism using “Influence points.”

Lions Pride: Attack: 20 Armor 18 Hp: 75

A Single combat unit trained from villager to a Combat Lord these warriors are a single force to be reckoned with trained to be as strong as the guardians themselves. The Pride is the basic Thane of the Pride his appearance motivates and inspire men to be great a mythical warrior who excels in all forms of close combat.

passive ability Armor and Shield “25 less damage”,

• Monarchy Chapel

Chaplain: same as a villager

inspire people like scribes they are stationary workers that produce happiness and heals population of sickness and wounds also builds influence points.

Must be upgraded through influence points.

The Priest/Priestess: Attack: 7 Armor 5 Hp 50 passive ability: Healer, Pacify

Unlike the Chaplain he/she heals people also inspire people in whatever region they are in increasing happiness for the whole clan also any kill he gets makes influence points, in addition to being able to fight; however, fighting normal people is not the Priests’/Priestess’s strong suite he/she is stronger against mythical sprits and Draugers. In the presents of Draugers she\he can slow their attack speed and movement 20% and gain 100% increase to attack, armor and attack speed against Draugers or any evil mythical that come from hell, Sprits are even weaker in their presents given all he does is converts them into Guardians with pacify.

Pacify: Bring peace to a conflicted spirit turning it into a “Guardian”

Healer: heals wounds outside of controlled population and cure sicknesses outside of controlled populations.

Must Upgrade through 100 influence points each and must be a marksman present near the church.

Chancery Bard: Attack/ranged and melee 15 Armor 6 Hp 55

Passive ability: Attack Penetration 20%

A chancery bard is an agent who possess intense offensive damage and stealth abilities. They retain all the knowledge & abilities of an archer mixed in with the combat abilities of those taught by the Monarchy although they are warrior-based Monarchy training have more on the education of battle and attacking smart rather than trading blow as that of an Footman they are not trained to trade blow.


Can only be acquired through influence points

Inquisitor: Attack 15 Armor 10 Hp: 75

Inquisitor can summon forth a Guardian “resembles Pride Lord in stats” however does not gain pride lords upgraded strengths in addition if he is present the lions pride clan feels safer increasing happiness 100% increasing clan’s production and growth.

Passive ability: Attack Penetration 20%

Active ability: Pacify: Bring peace to a conflicted spirit turning it into a “Guardian”

Healer: heals wounds outside of controlled population and cure sicknesses outside of controlled populations.


• Archery guild

Archer: Attack: 10 Armor: 4 Hp: 50

Basic range unit of the pride can be upgraded to be more useful in ambush attacks but mostly he is a ranged shooter that deal heavy range damage no good in melee fights though.

Upgrade to using gold 25 each

Marksman: Attack: 15 Armor: 4 Hp: 50
Advanced damager of the clan the marksman and the actual real special unit the brits know them as longbowmen in Danish however they are revered as marksman.
Ability group based of 3 or more ranged units: Volley
Can shower a rain fall of arrows on to enemies however can only be used in a group of 3 or more.

Must go through Barracks training and influence 150 points and A weapons master can only be made from a “Chancery Bard”

Weapons Master: Attack 20 Armor 8 Hp: 70

Unique in their own rights Weapon Masters are not just rangers they are well suited for frontline and backline for weapon masters are deadly champions who possess high damage range abilities and fast and effective melee they are even able to fight using aoe melee and range for they are able to fire a flurry of shots that can hit their marks with procession.

Ambush: Weapon Master can move silently in any environment as long as they are passive. When attacking coming out of ambush increase damage and crit damage 100% on first attack causes knock down and stun if attack is done close range otherwise the unit takes 100% damage and crit. Ambush has a 30 sec cooldown during this time movement speed and attack speed increases 30%
Blade dance. Attack speed rises and melee gains aoe for 30 secs the cooldown is 15 secs.



Must be gained by upgrading tech tree:

Holy Blessings 75% health regeneration in and out of combat and life steal on attack 25% damage converted into life. For Pride Lord, Inquisitor, and Weapons Master only.

Holy mantle of leadership
Pride, Inquisitor, and Weapons Master Gains 50% damage increase

Kings Pride
Pride Gains extra 25 Hp and 20 % armor increase

Assassins temperament

Weapons Master Gains 20 % more crits chance and damage and range immunity similar to specters and 20 % movement speed.

Active ability

Ambush: ability to move silent in any environment as long as they are passive. When attacking coming out of ambush increase damage and crit damage 100% on attack 100 %

Ambush has a 30 sec cooldown

Blade dance. Attack speed rises and melee gains aoe for 30 secs the cooldown is 15 secs.

I still got a lot of work to do with this. but i figured it would be a start to get an insight basically the units can use cross training to build a better unit. again this is just an idea. I thought about making mod for it Have idea for 2 other clans too they are not as complex as this one though Rat clan and Panther clan.

Why are you using this thread about a fanmade clan which has nothing in common with your concept... Why don't you create your own thread instead, just like anyone else suggesting a new clan ..?
