3-Player Co-op Conquest and/or Scenarios?

I imagine that it would require way too much resources on development side - especially that larger maps are kinda impossible to scale up further - but I am still wondering if this could maybe happen in the future?

three of us have a nice little semi-casual group, playing together mostly against AI, but even the pretty good random map generator and the high variability of clans can become not so interesting after some time

so I wonder if we are alone with the idea of having the option of a 3-player co-op Conquest or maybe a "Scenario"-like game mode with specific, more complex maps, similar to the Conquest maps?

I have not used the map editor yet, but what if you can just make your own scenario like a story mode... you set up all the monsters the spawns and the objective all PVE and make the AI feel like they are after you the whole time like the mission where by a certain year draugr just start pouring out to kill you. I see a lot of potential in this game if we the players can start making game modes like they have done in DOTA2 and starcraft arcade modes.

This post is almost 5 years old. And it's been asked so many times in many other places. It's unlikely to happen.

It seems Bifröst was their attempt at making a 3 player co-op mode.
