It feels like the only way to stop this from happening, is to go all in on attacking but this doesnt feel like a good decision in Northgard, since you will wreck most of your resources on doing so.
All in all on the big maps domination vic gets harder and trade/wisdom becomes more viable, either learn to play with it or just stick to small maps where matches are usually won by domination.
This will go a long way to making the game less insane. Most clans require going well into 803, like May or June, to win a trade victory. This is still fast but it gives the other players a chance to stop them with a spring 803 push. Reverting the changes to raven will force raven players to go into 803 to win.
Further down the road, though, the devs need to make more substantial changes to the game. As others have mentioned, map conditions should affect victory conditions. Larger maps should require more work. Just as fame needs more tiles on larger maps, wisdom victory should require more lore on larger maps and trade should require more influence. Also, world hostility should matter as well. Medium hostily northgard maps are not the same as extreme hostility ragnarok. The latter should require more work to win a trade/wisdom/fame victory.
So if 2000 influence points makes sense in a medium hostility 4 player Northgard map, perhaps it should be 3000 points for a 6 player extreme hostility Ragnarok map. In the meantime, ranked is broken and unplayable now, at least for the raven clan. The devs really need to do a better job in balancing their game.
Did find out that by clicking M, I was able to see which of the three military paths to follow.
What do I click or do to get trading?
