Suggestion - Adding (a little more) Advanced Micro-Management
I have bought the game a couple of months ago and just recently have I got addicted to the game, it brings me back to me as a 10 year old playing WarCraft 3 and how I enjoyed playing RTS like Starcraft 2 or Age of Empire.

Recently, as the good competitive DOTA 2 player that I am, I was searching online for a "competitive tournament" of Northgard and sadly I haven't found any professional ones. and I taught to myself why?

I think that a key thing in professional gaming is the audience and what they see on their screen and what they see is judged good or bad by how interesting is the gameplay, and that is determined by the complexity and how competitive the game is.

Therefore, my theory for why this game in 2 years doesn't get as much attraction as it deserves is because of the simplicity of the game.

After all that my question is what do you think about adding a little more advanced Micro Managing tools, what made Starcraft 2 what it is today is the skill that is required to have in high ranking, what I seem to get from Northgard that after you learn everything about all the clans and know whats the best thing to do in most situations your skill cap is reached. My suggestion is to add 2 things.

First is the "a" or attack button like in DOTA, Starcraft or any other RTS game there is an attack button that lets you click on the floor and the unit goes to attack either the closest or the strongest (in dota you can change between them), I believe this will really change the ability to micro manage your attacks as you can click to run and then A to switch between attack mode and running mode this will hugely increase the skill cap that you can reach because you'll need to master another technique to be able to use the most effective amount of dmg for the least amount of hp taken.

Second is the "shift" or queue button, again like in every other RTS this ability to queue your next move bumps up the skill cap and allows you to have better, pretty much everything, you'll have the ability to plan what you want to do in the future and will be forced to think about many steps at once, in return it will probably shorten the game time which I don't really think Northgard wants to be the fast and furious type of game like other RTS', and that's what makes Northgard unique, so it should be taken in consideration (maybe allow the queue button for some things only like movement of units but not buildings).

To summary everything I have said, I do take in consideration the fact that maybe the developers want to make the game slower than all of the other RTS' and all of my suggestions do not tweak the game as much as to change the speed of the game or its unique mechanics but rather change the most basic and some even say important part of the game which is the combat and how you plan to the future (which Northgard is all about what I will do in the future by how it is built), all of these little additions are small but crucial.

Thats all from me about my suggestions to upgrade the Micro-Management in the game, hope you (a developer (or just a fellow player :) )) have read and understood everything, I will be happy to hear comments about what I have wrote even if it's about why I'm wrong and here for anything
