They remind me of rat a bit in that you can't really benefit from multi resource tiles. Just focus on boosting one area for one resource.
Not that I'm an expert or anything. Just some casual observations.
I think having separate buffs for prosperity would help. Like maybe 15% at 6 livability and 30% at 8.
They definitely need to do an overview of the kingdom. Because their specific faith bonuses all kind of suck.
One of the Conquest bonuses gives Paladins a weapon upgrade which would be great for the base game instead of Ost for example.
Also early healing is already in the game but not explained. The main tile heals subjects. Which means you just need a bit of micro.
its called obsessive-compulsive disorder
At the beginning you have the problem with the very limited jobs, so that you can get food and healing in the first place. In short, if you put too much pressure on the lion at the beginning, he's practically helpless.
But as long as it gets going, i.e. more jobs are available via tavern upgrades etc. and it has at least 4-5 areas, you really notice how the clan is picking up more and more momentum.
For the experience tree, if you're not sure what to expect, I recommend defense. If you know areas are not a problem, then military for better troop buffs.
The leadership tree is rather unfavorable for the clan.
Well, I like playing it a lot, almost more than the other clans. :)
Greetings Arcu
I found them difficult to use at first, but now I am of the opinion that the Lion clan is quite strong.
Concerning their military prowess, sentries are definitely weak, though a single sentry can still take out a lone wolf. Take the second possible military upgrade path for a free sentry camp upgrade and get Fantassins. I tend to rely heavily on Fantassins, though I still recruit a mix of the other two military camp units. Don't neglect Paladins either.
You can get a lot of food early on if you build a tavern equivalent and a sentry camp in your first food zone, considering they add to the specialized worker cap of a zone. After acquiring stone, you can eventually upgrade the aforementioned buildings and have 5 food collectors. Once you colonize adjacent zones and upgrade their tavern equivalents to increase the specialized worker cap in adjacent zones, you can have upwards of 8 food collectors. Add a smithy to boost your yield by an additional 20%.
The Lion clan can can boost the hell out of a single resource zone if you attempt to maximize the specialized worker cap in that zone. You can still get a lot of value out of dual resource zones as well (eg. specialized food + anchorage / harbour). This clan can attain ridiculous levels of each resource if you snowball them effectively. They can even passively acquire stone or iron from each anchorage.
