And that are pvp games?
Yes.
The quality of the game originally was great. At some point a few years back they released a DLC that was more broken than every other patch in the past combined, but it had they/them pronouns so the quality was exactly what was to be expected of game developers who need to put they/them pronouns in a Medieval Nordic Raiding themed game.
Then the game started getting worse and worse and more buggy with every patch or update and now almost everyone hates it. They also "Upgraded the AI" a while back which basically broke the game and made it less fun to play as a single player game.
I remember this differently. At some point at the beggining nobody was playing single player and when ranked was introduced everybody played ranked. Yes, game was originally ment to be single player experience but turned out a great multiplayer and it was fine for a long time until there was too much spaghetti in the code. I don't see this as result of multiplayer development, just devs being lazy and short-sighted at some point when basically said "ah, we deal with it later" instead of rebuilding the code.
BUT SO ARE THE BUGS
