HOW KILL GULLVEIG on Lethal difficult?
Hi guys, if there are experienced players here who have completed the bifrost several times, I would like to clarify how to most effectively destroy the final boss. On lethal difficulty all our attempts are in vain, I came here to find a solution.

Are you sure you passed this on the last difficulty?
The more people there are, the more explosions from the debuff.
maybe it seems easy when you play solo but we play with three and make a total of 130 recruits.
And it turns out that most die from massive explosions

I've done it once on Extreme with Boar Clan. My methodology didn't really differ from playing on Classic though. I made a warband of about 50 with about 30 of them being ranged attackers, I made sure I had multiple upgraded sets of military buildings to get as many combat bonuses as I could, I used Legions warpath, I pretty much always managed to accumulate more lores on my way through Bifrost that would increase my DPS.... and after beating Gullveig the first two times, I'd send my force in and do my best to position them spread out around her while she was powering up.... and then once combat started, they'd just blitz the hell out of her. A few seconds later, she dead.... and usually most of my warband is dying of poison or other DoT effects she uses because I go 100% offence and no defence, but she is dead.

I've not done her with other players, so I can't really comment on that.

Have been playing bifrost a lot, really like it, but i agree that the endboss is kinda busted

Usually play lions or hounds, also mostly coop with 1 friend

I usually like to mass archers as lions, with lots of terretory, lots of upgraded archery camps for the sweet 15% dmg boost and then a good amount of units to quickly shoot her down.

After the bugfix of the boss (you could make her stop attacking in phase 1 and 2) the first phase became the hardest to crack in my opinion.

the melee dmg seems to split between all enemies in a small cone infront of her, so just goiing in with very few melee units is significantly harder (i try to kite her with hildegard while the archers keep shooting her down.

the second phase is the easiest, no high dmg to hildegard tanking her and i usually have more archers then last time, so she goes down easily.

The last phase is just a micromanagement-party. If you come underprepared or mess up your micro to much, she will wreck you. It gets harder the more units you have, of course, but if you have enough units and your micro is on point, you can do it.

My ally does not have as strong as an army as i do, but its still more units to throw at her

It also depends alot on your luck on what upgrades you got or on your strategy with what clans you pick. Friend picked ox one time with the production increase for every military unit you have... i had like 3 or 4 worked tiles as lion, fully upgraded and loaded with workers and everytime i got another military unit all my production would go up, so at some point i had more military unit than workers... never have seen her go down that fast

But its true that the difficulty is whacky, as in normal is a breeze(never tried easy) and hard is a nightmare
Like others have said you need to have a LOT of military Lore, military buildings upgraded with stone and all your military forge upgrades.

I like ranged units much more than melee because I can spread them all around Gulveig before the fight starts and she cannot hit them all at once. This allows half your units to keep attacking without moving.

Unless you play an op clan like Stag. I got 80 warband of relic units and killed her before she did her 2nd explosion haha.
Here is the proof that Stag is op. 81 warband 5300 fame:
