Wolf bifröst extreme
Okay, have thousands of hours in this game and finished every conquest on extreme.

The new bifröst mode is fun, but i can't beat it on extreme. Even save scumming the final mission i couldn't kill her in third phase. My eco is just too bad. I want to build about 11-13 units (mostly axethrowers), but i just keep failing to kill her off. Always end up with about 3-4 units left and she has about 25% hp left. The poison effect is just too damn strong and slowly kills my egil.

I tried to mass leadership bonuses on him. So i usually end up with about 5-6 weapon upgrades and mjölnir relic. He has about 50 damage.

My overall strategy is to be fast at the start and mainly live of food bonus from killing wolfs etc. That works well until i hit about 30 pop and most my people are in ports. About 4 upgraded ones. Yet i struggle to get her down.

Any advice?

Gotta say, Bifrost on Extreme is a hundred times easier than Cross of Vidar's final battle on Extreme. But going at it with a total population around 30 is ridiculous. Like you should hit that population in the first few months and be closer to 100 by the end.

Bifrost Mode is pretty straightforward.
You do as many bonus objectives as you can. You persist as long as you can in each stage to pick up bonuses. You collect lore and bonuses that will specifically help you on the final stage. Anything that lets buildings not take up a building slot is great, as is lore that boosts attack power... and obviously you'll want at least two weapon effects for all your attacks (and one upgraded watchtower for defending against waves).

Oh... and don't just rely on Eril. Best approach to Vanaheim is a HUGE warband. And don't go Leadership. Either of the other two is fine. Leadership is for when you're only using a tiny warband (which I guess you are).... but tiny warband isn't going to cut it for Extreme Vanaheim.
