I dont think you guys have played this chapter since the last update. Now you need to march ALL THE WAY by grabbing every piece of land until there. Or you cant attack the enemy
Its not like that what you guy are saying about decolonization.
There might even be a bug here actually.
I see the decolonization icon flashing when I use the raiders.
The only way the game allows me is by manually marching there and having to grab every piece of land in a "snake like" tunnel. One by one.
Please play the chapter 6 again and let me know if you can beat it
Extreme difficulty after last update.
I came to enemy with my own army. Clearing tile by tile. As i said first time. It's doable
Also, as a hint, if you set up a trade post and trade with the Jotunn the whole time, they'll eventually give you a champion unit which is exceptionally useful.
Ok just did this mission and it's even easier than this. Do your prep for 801 simple eco opener 1 food 2 wood and harbor then do stone once you get upgraded mining. Once you get setup send a scout to jotan town hall to start prepping relations. (you'll also want to have a second scout out scouting the middle of the map for fame while your harbor gets all the coast tiles). Go for scouts upgrade in top row first since getting fame quickly is your win con and you need to have at least one scout out scouting most of the tiles, get mining after that then go middle row for combat the map will not last long enough to get trading bonus for jotan unless we rush it but we want to reach 500 fame to end the map. (your harbor will reveal enemy path past jotan but you need to make a path to jotan).
Once 801 comes around get the second food tile, put up silos and then start trading food with jotan. We also want to build altar of kings, you can do it on year 1 but I rushed upgrades to harbor for more effective raids and one of the secondary conditions forces you to give resources to the rebel boar clan so I wanted to have a nice stockpile going into winter. You only need to get to jotan to 50% and they will allow you to walk through their territory we do not need giant to finish map. You should be at around 5-10% after year one with your scout and once you start trading food you should hit 50% just in time to go big in 802. So scout, mine, upgrade harbor, upgrade mercenaries and sailors. Build a warcamp or two there's no need to upgrade it because we will just buy mercenaries from it.
As long as you have been raiding boar they will be easy pickings and if you time if right you can even raid with your army to make it an even easier win.
