Chapter 4 Cross of Vidar impossible?? - Extreme

So i've attempted chapter 4 multiple times now on extreme and i'm at a loss as to how you're supposed to beat this mission when you can only deploy 1 merc at a time to each of the trading posts when rig gets to send 4-5 warriors each time, whenever i click the deploy button it sends 1 merc and even with the raven relic to send the son of hmyrr it has 20 health and dies instantly to either 1 warrior or 2 defense tower shots...


Can anyone point out what i'm missing here?

Throw your subjects onto the harbors, it will increase how many mercenaries can go on to each tile. I cleared it with no trouble sending 4 mercs each time.

As Brother Frank said in his comment, the number of mercenaries that the Raven clan deploys is equal to the number of sailors assigned to the harbor, and when combined with the lighthouse after the 200 Fame bonus, and the relic should end up as a max of 6 sailors/Mercenaries with the Son of Hrymr.
