Is the base version worth it?

I only have interest in the campaign, and i noticed there is a lot of DLC, will i be fine with the base version alone?

Yes, you'll be fine. The DLC's are not necessary just for single-player campaign.

Enjoying the base campaign immensely, will pick up the addon dlc campaign at a later date I'm sure. Skirmish against AI is also fun.
