Lore Victory too easy?
Hi all,

I've noticed when playing the only victory we ever achieve is the lore victory. If I intentionally go for a different victory, enemy AI will get a lore victory before I can achieve anything else.

I know the answer in my case is to just turn off lore victory if I'm tired of winning that way, but is the lore victory actually too easy to achieve? Does anyone else have any different experiences?

I don't know enough about the clans to determine whether one is geared toward getting lore victories easier, and as such, I feel as though if I disable lore victory I might be neutralising a clan's strength, which would be unfair for anyone playing that clan.

Any thoughts about the matter are appreciated, thanks!

It's one of the two win conditions that appears realistically achievable by every clan, but not all of them will want to go for it. My experience is mostly multiplayer(which sports the same mechanics for the player at least). Every clan benefits from getting at least some lore.

I wouldn't say it's "too easy to achieve". Most games still end with a domination victory, and that's probably best as it's the most interactable of the bunch. Lore victory is certainly a lot easier than fame and especially economic - both of which are pretty much reserved for the Stag and Raven clan respectively. I think you might not be building your armies at the correct window of time.

Yeah, I've been mainly playing multiplayer with friends against AI (up to medium at the moment). We had to turn off every other victory type in order to get a domination victory. Maybe its different against humans.
Lore just seems to come first every time.

It's a well known fact the AI cheats with resources in Northgard. I've personally never seem them win a lore victory however. As far the player themselves; I can't agree. Domination victory is usually much easier to achieve. You do need to make sure that after you stabilized your elementary resources you need plenty of gold so you can instantaneously recruit a sizable army. It sounds like you're stalling the game for too long.

Any victory is easy to achieve in a standard AI game when your play is at a certain point. You should certainly be in a position to win via domination long before you achieve a lore victory, though, unless you just aren't focusing on military whatsoever.

My advice if you don't want to see a lore victory so often is to go and play multiplayer. You'll see very little other than domination!

Yeah, that would make sense if the AI cheat resources. I'm able to beat them out in any of the victory types, because they earn them slow, but their armies are near infinite compared to how I play.

I probably am taking too long to achieve a victory, but i find the limited building space means i can only ever have one military building per territory, which just isn't enough when you're playing AI, and if you have more, you can't afford the units or don't have the food to feed them.

Seems difficult to strike a good balance to play competitively.
Does anyone who plays well happen to record gameplay that I can check out, see how most people play?
