how to get the Heart of yggdrasil and owls unique victory?
Step one of the owl clans unique victory condition is to unlock the heart of yggdrasil. how do you do that? i assumed it was a lore but it doesnt appear to be.

I was able to build it one time. It appears in the center of the lore menu. But I wasn't able to figure out why I could build it and how to do it again. In my last game I placed all of the branches you can possibly build so basically maxed the lore but I wasn't able to place it.

The heart of Yggdrasil is basicly, the same thing as other clans lore things. You have to get the "Three big lore" techs on each tree, they are in the corner of owls tree. Then that will unlock a new "Big lore button" in the middle of the true, which is how you make the "Golem" appear

Okay then it was just buggy for me cause I had all three big lore techs or I forgot one of them and didn't notice. Either way it should be described somewhere how to get it. Its not even in the tutorial on the right when you start a single player game.

From my observations, you only need one of the three final techs to unlock being able to place the plant golem. As soon as you've paid for one of the 480-cost lores, if the victory condition is enabled, the icon will appear in the center of the lore tree. If the victory condition isn't enabled, you also can't summon the unit. The plant golem costs 500 base, increasing in cost by 300 per full tile separating where you place it and the map 'center'.

You no longer need to get 3 blessings to get lore victory on other clans

One blessing unlocks the tech for the tree which then costs 500 lore to spawn. You have to enable wisdom as a win condition or it will not be available. For you to actually win, you need to decolonize 4 enemy FOREST tiles (return them to nature) with the tree a part of that decolonization. and leave them neutral. You will see the number increment on the tree and you will also see a notification on the right showing how many you have done. This system seems really flawed because on many maps there aren't even enough forests to do this. They also need to be owned by the enemy. If you colonize a forest after cleansing it with a tree, or an enemy takes it back, your "win" number will decrease again. The description on the old guard tree thingy mentions reclaiming enemy territories, and does not mention anything about the forest tiles, just that you need to return them to nature. So far in my testing only forest tiles have counted. I'm still trying other things, but this might be a bug.

Just finished testing today, you are right. I believe they fixed it today and it is working as intended now. I was able to get a victory with the Guardian of the realm and unlock the achievement. Last night that was definitely not the case!



Couple of other interesting things I've noted since my last post. The lore tree says now "at least 500 lore" there are some tiles that make it more expensive and I don't know the reason yet. It was as expensive as 1400 lore in some places, while another tile toward the edge of my town it was 500.

With the owl's relic you can actually generate more forests when you upgrade the tile/zone. Before spawning the guarding I had upgraded a number of tiles to contain forests. My testing previously I only needed to capture 4 territories to win. In this run I needed 6, not sure if that has to do with number of forests, or possible the amount of enemies you are facing, or total tiles on the map. My second test was on a larger map with more enemies so thinking that has more to do with it rather than the amount of forests. Just some observations.

It's 500 lore at the center of the map, and gets more expensive the further away from the center you plant it.

The decolonized tiles do not have to be Forests. It definitely worked that way yesterday, and AFAIK, since it was released.

Thanks for confirming about the lore. And then I'm not sure, but capturing territory with the tree(and having it increment) was not working for me yesterday other than forest tiles. Also building the owl's relic was not unlocking the achievement until the day before as well. I saw on asats there was two "Call of the Wild" achievements listed, meaning they just silently deleted the original and re added it. So they are definitely doing stuff in the background. As of today though, all achievements should be working!
