Other than that, micro the fight to kill one dwarf at a time.
Given that the map has no enemy clans, it's actually a pretty easy mission.
Also, I wouldn't bother with Mjolnir. Gerfjun's jar is so stupidly over powered that basically any other relic is a waste of space. I build that first to turbo charge my eco, then build the Horse relic after hitting Ancestral Influence.
Also, I usually only build 1 shield bearer and 1 warrior, to proc Military Strategy, but then go all in on Axe Throwers for the rest of the army for Horse, as your warchiefs can tank the damage fine, and Axe Throwers have higher DPS.
It also heavily depends on the clan. Clans that take longer to get running are at an disadvantage (like Ox clan), since time is very limited.
Also try to get a good map with enough food tiles at the start. A stable production of food and wood is key.
Try to wipe out the dwarfen tiles early on.
Like @Aratorin said, get mostly axe throwers and make sure they get the time to attack without getting attacked themselves too fast. War chiefs and maybe 1-2 shield bearers as tanks and the rest as much axe throwers as possible -- but again, don't wait too long, because waiting for that one additional axe thrower may cost the time you need in the end.
