...How do I start? I can't create a game?

I don't know if I'm just being daft but I actually can't figure out how to start a game. I get to the menu and on both multiplayer and single I can choose a clan, name, color... but that's it! Dead end! What am I missing??

Might be that your UI is too big. The start button should be below all that stuff.

probably the UI, there is scaling option under the settings/options you may have to scroll down to see it.

I have this problem as well. My UI scaling is 1x and smaller than that is not possible. Another things is that the only resolution available is 1920 x 1080.

Edit: This problem seem to be related to singel player games and conquest games. Story mode and multiplayer seem to work fine.

Changing between windowed, borderless and fullscreen doesn't bring forth the play button. Nor does it help copying the prefs.sav-file, paste it back into the folder and delete the original file.

Edit: I also unstalled the game, updated windows, restarted the computer, installed the game again(, including validating the files). The problem persists!

I only got one monitor(, which actually is a tv). "Display 2" is something that the Northgard program made up on its own.

I checked what resolution I have for the computer normally, and it is 1280x720.

have you tried pressing alt + enter while seing the northgard screen?
Sometimes this can help if the game screen is sort of displaced

Yes, the whole problem dissapeared like magic, when I changed the screen resolution to 1366 x 768. I bought the game and out of habit, expected it to be like all other games I bought before. Thank You for excellent assistance, Hollow, the game is perfectly playable now.

I just came across this bug myself. It is, without a doubt, one of the most ridiculous, infuriating bugs I've ever come across in all my years gaming. Game breaking menu UI bugs? I can't believe 9 months later it's still not solved.

It's not really a "bug" if you bought a game without making sure you meet the minimum requirements...
