Middle year5 i begin attack the dwarves, 1 or 2 tiles but haven't got the time for more before attack their main base. And then 12-14 dwarves come to defend. Game over
edit: you definitely need to clear the surrounding dwarf tiles first, otherwise they are also sending units to the middle, and it is impossible to beat that many at once. also i was thinking food production with upgraded healers is the way to go, so they can heal multiple units in parallel later when fighting the dwarves.
I think its way to tough with a 5 year time frame.
But I am generally not a fan of time restraints in games.
So if you ask me it should just be without and maybe have a competing clan instead.
If you really want to beat it within 5 years I guess you need to get the conquest bonus that reduces cost on your warchief. Preferably the gold one.
Or get lucky with 1-2 shipwrecks
It helped a lot but I had my warchief out too late even though I went directly for him.
I don't know if this map is used for other clans than Ox but I was Ox.
And getting warchief out early seems like the best way to beat rush maps.
My many tries with eagle was a complete disasters. a year with blizzard or kraken will complete wreck the eco, you got no tanky units, axe throwers running wild through the tiles before even consider to attack sth so focussing units seems a bad idea...
this mission, and the breeding wyvern one are imo nearly impossible an extreme without a lucky map
ask the guy first that apologizes to shiro, he said it is easily/perfectly doable.
Yes it is completly doable -unlock unstoppable and monster killer in the military lore, make mjolnir and upgrade your warriors (i play the game in french so sorry if it is not the good branches names)
You need these if you want to complete:
- Exceptional Luck
- Map with many food areas
- Area with 3 sheeps adjacent to your town hall
- Many great conquest bonuses especially warchief bonus, bonus gold, bonus wood, warrior bonus
- saving constantly and like foreseeing disasters and be proactive for these events
- rush to unstoppable and monster killer
so this conquest map is like puzzle rather than a rts and not enjoyable. and cant play conquest anymore because this is final map, and i cant play northgard because i want to play conquest with ox. limiting with time ended up with this.
From my experience its about getting a strong eco and lore going for 3 years to give enough lore to bolster army and eco, and eco to sustain the army for the last 2 years of trying to kill the dwarves.
Also it really helps when there are 1 or 2 'missing' dwarf outposts, this happens when on the Gate tile there are water/cliffs that break the natural movement from the tile to the other tiles, this reduces massively the time spent both killing and healing afterwards so personally unless the rest of the map is great I would restart until atleast 1 tile is missing.
A tip for Boar, get a bear tamed its a great tank and the warchief heals it fast.
I think bear does this well because I get the bear, the warchief and the bodyguard in the first winter and start attacking the dwarves. WOUND every dwarf in the tile without killing them so they are not replaced... then once they are all wounded kill them all. Can do one dwarf village between each winter that way with no extra troops (all others on food/gold research so in the final year you can make a bunch of troops to go into the center).
STILL we came within an inch of losing. Another year would be great. Also had a great map.
20 tries with other clans is frustrating.
Founded easier to wait the last year to attack with Ox personnaly - 8 warriors, Mjolnir, Commanding path, Torfin and his shadow...piece of cake in extreme solo
