[Cross of Vidar] Saint-Germain, Chapter 6

I'm having a lot of trouble completing Signy's bonus objective "Eliminate an entire patrol". I'm using the "Scorched Earth" skill to do more damage but the enemy always focus Hildegard and then it's game over. No amount of micro-managing has helped me.

Any tips/advice?

Rather than do Scorched Earth, you should concentrate on killing them one at a time. Enemies won't be able to focus on Hildegard once she gets too far or she gets out of the zone, so take advantage of that.

The first and second patrol I'd say are the easiest since they're only 3 axethrowers. It gets a bit tricky with later patrols (4 axethrowers) that switching between heroes will be required but it's doable. Also makes it easier for you. Up to you which you want since you only need to kill one group

The upper first patrol had 3 axe throwers. I always took the path south, never noticed. Switching between heroes helped too. Thanks!

I still can't defeat the patrol with 3 axe throwers. My Hildegard loses health so fast...
You can't heal her, right? I want to kill them one by one, but after the first kill both Hildegard and Signy (who is so passive I constantly have to assign her to attack -_- ) are both almost dead.
Can anyone please help me more or show a video of how it's done or something?

Have you tried fighting next to the zone's border? Also, switching between Hildegard and Signy (sending one to combat, one stays just outside the border, then switching) is absolutely vital to completing the challenge. At least I did it this way.

What do you mean with fighting next and/or outside the border?

Well, the map is divided in little provinces right? Try fighting along the border of two provinces. It's just so that you can switch heroes from in/out of combat faster.

All the Cross of Vidar videos I could find are "played it on expert" and none help with any bonus objectives of any mission, whether in expert or otherwise. Sadness.
