You are just ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Might as well start over if you are solo playing. (or buy rat clan)
Good to know, thanks.
I was waiting for the first person to say "get gud". That's a stupid argument considering most games punish bad decisions. The problem is that this game punishes you for (checks notepad) existing in a world with snow. When a blizzard hits your food for -30, how exactly am I supposed to prepare for that 5 minutes out? Further, my point is that the punishment sucks all the fun out of the game. As people in here have already said, you may as well start over and hope for better RNG.
Yup, you nailed it. Good job.
You just keep nailing it! Are you a psychic or something? How did you know I spend every waking moment playing games on my phone?! And you also were smart enough to realize that nothing I'm saying is sarcastic, too! I stand in awe of you, sir!
Nailed it again. You are undefeated!
Dude, you are one of the most unpleasant people I've talked to (even on the internet) in a long time. I have no desire to "counter" you. The only use you have in my life for the brief window I'm going to interact with you is amusement. And even that is just about done. So with that said, thanks for the chuckles and have a good one.
"git gud" is a bad point when someone asks for help
it is not a bad answer when someone just rants blindly.
somehow, so many people have been able to beat extreme conquests, where having your whole pop get sick WILL mean your death as the enemy is always able to attack you (due to cheating bots... and don't even start that the bots shouldn't cheat, tell me any strategy game, especially RTS, where the bots don't cheat... and check before you submit your suggestions). Somehow, although all the resource drains are bigger on higher difficulties (especially during events), this was still possible. Tell me, how is it the issue of game design if it's obviously possible to handle?
Maybe ask people for tips or don't go on high difficulties. the game doesn't have a great tutorial, i'll agree with that instantly, it will not help you out of many situations with the information you're given, but there's a community for you. Don't scream at the game for being bad, either quietly stop playing it because it's obviously not for you or ask people for help. Many in the community can handle blizzards.
You claim to have a history of game reviewing. You're probably among the people that played roguelikes and complained it's too hard because they're constantly dying, not realising that's part of the genre.
You just complain, while obviously not understanding the game. This game is challenging, it requires you to adapt quickly to new situations. Yes, in some cases the RNG might get you, but in most cases it won't matter. Losing is ok, just maybe think more about what you could've done differently that would've saved you instead of just blaming it on bad design.
You are unpleasant, because you're angry just because you wanted to be angry today. YOU are among the people that make game reviewers infamous. Actually try to play, or go without complaining.
More than half the reviews are about politics, one even being "i don't plan to ever play this game, i just heard someone wanted to cancel it so i gave a positive review". This guy doesn't care about games, he cares about him being allowed to REEEEE wherever he wants. So he shall, this is his freedom. I hope he never called others snowflakes, because reading his reviews really shows that he would be projecting.
He's played Civ V for 500+ hours but didn't manage to get more than half the achievements somehow (i'm honestly surprised how this is even possible, half of them happen just by playing). He specifically chose to only play half the leaders. For a favourite game, you really dislike half the content. This is honestly confusing. How much time did you spend in the menu / lobbies?
It is also visible you do have the perseverance to actually play difficult games like elden ring and kingdom come, maybe you should just refrain from difficult strategy games then.
Or you should spend more than 6 hours with a game before complaining the mechanics are too difficult
I'm locking this thread as it has gone off topic.
Please don't make any personnal attacks, this isn't the place for that kind of behaviour.
