The one you have mentioned right now is about finish Conquest by all clans, yes, but not at that difficulty.
General tips:
go solo (you can save and load)
save as soon as the game starts and scout your surroundings
load after you have some info how to expand the best way
have about 3 save files and load if somerhing bad happend to avoid it
hope that you always have one mission that is not a total pain in the arse when there is a choice between two
you might want to take the +food +wood +krowns +knowlege buffs since the boost you the whole game right from the start
I don‘t know if wolf clan was the best choice but it was possible at least for me:
the amount of food you get from wolves and bears (and bear clan bear and boar clan boar) are huge. use wolf dens for farming food
usually don‘t care too much about building a strong economy and rather go for the military path right from the start to get krowns for kills (and food for animal kills) and attack the AI early so you don‘t stand 1vs3 in the later game
send shield dudes first to tank enemy towers and of course save before you attack and eventually load if it went wrong
in the first wolv mission i just used the soldiers i got from the ships and took care of them so they did not die (save and load)
On the middle mission take out one enemy early then the second.
on the last mission do not care about the AI. they all get overrun by drauger. just make a big army and play defensive and take your sweet time until you can attack
But yeah I've played some coop conquests with a friend and he hated wolf the most (while he liked stag and beara lot)
He's the type of build a strong economy, then attack, too.
So i repeat: I'm not sure if it is the best choice. :P
I have no reference with other clans on extreme and I'm not planning to play on extreme again. (I did it just for the achievement and like to play in a more relaxing way on normal without feeling the need to save and load the game and just enjoy it xD)
Wolf's potential is great, bonuses for tower's later on and this berserker with huge amount of dmg. Exactly, one mission at Extreme difficulty and the rest on the other, there is no sense to put ourselfes into this masochist process
