Conquest was thoroughly tested with the most recent update before release and I can assure you all challenges are able to be completed with all clans. It's very possible you got a few unfortunate seed generations :/
And we're aware of the Negotiation bug, working to get it fixed as we speak :)

You guys kidding ! NBD is right extreme conquest is ruined now the hole game is ♥♥♥♥ now thats the , no build order is working anymore thats the first time i feel i want my money back for it. I dont play 100 times the same lvl for no fun. More aggressive is cool but delete the hacks from the AI and godamned patch yggradsil 2k food 3 tiles with silo should be enough and make this mission possible to win when not 2 cheaters blocking your last 2 needed foodtiles and The Curse one, remove dead villager transform into draugr that the AI mates are possibly a help like in the mission description only Wolf clan can beat this lv alone because he can run with army the hole game
My friend also finished the first level of the wolf, which is straight up Vs 3 AI on Extreme.
I think it's fine to complain about any difficulty being too hard except the highest. Complaining hard is too hard only causes grief for players who are able to complete these challenges. Lowering the replayability for the players who are able to deal with it.
The main issue is that the 3 clans are basically one team, they attack and defend together right from start, and are hyper aggressive. One on one those clan heroes are stronger than Signy especially in the early years. I really dont see how an early offensive can work.

Godfathers with more than 2000 hours. Your winning strategy is very interesting on this particular map gen.
Make the AI have skill, not insane bonuses. How is it fair for the AI to colonize everything in sight, be 3 of them, have food and gold all the time and do basically nothing to deserve these things. Why is the AI exempt from the rules of the game? 2 upgraded towers on the same tile in a 3v1 setting...
We're looking into this and working on the AI side of things as we speak, so hopefully we'll be able to bring things down a notch.
In the meantime, it would be appreciated if you guys could provide details on the specific conquests you're struggling with and some details about what exactly is causing you hassle, that way we can start identifying the key issues and working on a resolution.

There is also the Jotun one, I only finished that one with snake clan, it is probably more difficult with other clans since you can't move freely through their camp.
At least put 4 Jotun on each tile, why the hell are there 2 Jotun only when I can't defend them and the enemy has 3 armies that all attack at the same time? The enemy has huge army by the time you are even at 50% trade influence. What is the strategy?
