Steam Deck save sync between PC

Hello
do someone know how to play same save between PC (Windows) and Steam Deck?
I tried both native and via Protonhowever the save isn't being synced from PC to Deck.
I checked the cloud sync in game options but it didn't help. Would love to play same save on both devices, thanks!

Oh, I actually found out bud
Turns out there's an ***IN GAME OPTION*** to enable cloud saves. We just gotta flip that switch.

On one hand it's kind of silly. But on the other, it is a 1999 game. I'm guessing they did what they could.
