Key Bind not recognized in game
I'm trying to bind the "multiselect all" function to "^" (in my layout that's the button left of "1"). The menu recognizes that button no problem and the line in the Baldur.lua also seems correct (
SetPrivateProfileString('Keymap Character Selection','Multiselect all','94')
), but during gameplay, the functionality switches back to the default "=".

Binding another key works without issue, though I'd really like to utilize this one.

Does anyone have an idea of where the issue might lie and how to fix it?

On a US keyboard layout the caret ^ is a Shift function for the 6 key. The game may have some sort of filter to disallow any of the symbols on the number keys from being hotkeys since Shift can be used in conjunction with the number keys to select multiple party members.

That may explain why it refuses your binding, but I'm not sure how to fix your problem. In a US layout that key is "grave accent" ` (96) , you could try setting multiselect all to ` and seeing if that works.

Thanks for your input.

The weird thing is that it doesn't disallow the binding in the menu at all (and the default "=", which *is* a shift function with my layout, works perfectly fine during gameplay). It's all rather baffling.

Easiest solution is to switch the keyboard layout to US manually every time I want to play, as the "`" binding works without issue. But it's still rather annoying.
