Am I forced to lose a party member?

Hello, folks, I am on my first playthrough of Planescape Torment EE (loving it, for the record), I have just gotten past Ravel's dungeon and, looking up things a bit, it seems that the area I am now in will eventually be lost, and a party member is recruited there.

From what I understand, if I were to recruit him, I would have to leave someone back, since I have a full party, and that would mean that once this place is permanently lost, that party member would be too. Am I mistaken? If not, that's not a deal-breaker, just a bit of a bummer. I think I have a save from right before Ravel, is it worth it to load it and leave one party member behind?

If you dismiss a party member now, you won't be able to get them back. If it's worth it to relaoad is up to you and also depends on how you are playing your Nameless One.

With a good-aligned mage I left Ignus in Sigil, because I didn't feel I needed him.

There is something interesting that may happen if you are lawful good and recruit Vhailor , but I wouldn't trade Nordom for him, unless you intend to play several times anyway and want all the achievements.
(If it's the achievement only, you still can make a save now, recruit him to get the achievement, then reload.)
