Final boss How to beat?
I remember final fight from original PT, my party versus Transcendental One, as the totaly unfair one. I maxed all I could and yet I wasnt able to beat him with anyone/anything from my arsenal for days, after few days of this torture I gave up and just used pacifistic ending, which i never asked for. honestly, there was no other fight in whole game with such extremely allresistant enemy.

Was this stupid fight fixed for EE?

I want to kill him after years. Does it need some extreme weapon/magic specialisation to beat him this time in EE? Or is it fair fight in new edition?

I don't think so? I did the fight just yesterday, and killed him using my party and two casts of Symbol of Torment. But I think as long as you have enough healing items to heal your party, they should kill TTO without much trouble. I haven't played original though, just this EE.

Sounds like you were under-leveled. Even so, you can talk to win, which is the best result.

Underleveled? Hard to believe. As I remember I visited and completed everything posible, by peaceful / balanced way. Solved every problem of my tammates. Completed all around that giant roboblacksmith. Killed giant brute monster in town ruines (to get nice magic ring and 1 milion XPs). So i bet i got more XP than players solving things violant way. The truth is, i played with standard DaDr rules, that means no automatic maximum livepoints per levelup.

Only things i did badly were king rat killing in fight cause i wasnt able to find that damned poisoned cheese and I left hard version of labyrinth, i disliked that superannoying part, that didnt look like important thing anyway.
And Im still not sure if i could get my romance relationship with lady in my team on higher level than just kissing.

There’s a couple things you can do if you do not want to talk your way out if the final fight. You can trick him to go check on the shadows if you pass a skill check. Tto leaves for a bit Then you get a chance to revive one or 2 of your teammates.

Morte isn’t dead he’s just pretending . Pick him first. Pick another teammate like dakkon or valihor and they get upgraded, massively (25 str and dex) and you can smoosh the final boss

lol, of course i know this. I dont remember if they got extra stats. BUT This doesnt help much cause team is revived in fact naked.
That means that boss fight starts in a moment when everything necesery for characters; armors, and magical trinkets, potions too lay on the floor. And it takes ages only to dress up everything important again in the combat. During these rounds whole team takes a lot of damage without chance to defend optimaly.

And when I somehow manage to dress up everybody and yet all my team still alive then Slow and unfair fight awaits me. I just gave it up after at least 100 fails in a row., few days with no chance..

oh god, and I thought that killing of angel was difficult. I was so naive, Angel was a sucker in comparation with this. Trancendashole was imune or extremely resistant to almost all of our attacks while his attacks worked all the time quite effectively. I never gave him any higher damage during fight so i didnt bothered to try that fourth day and let it be..

Dakkon keeps his blade. Valihor cannot drop his axe. Morte can tank while you case magic, or backstab. Or is you have 23 wisdom you can talk the tto into merging with you .

And yet, the boss resisted basicaly everyone/everything I had back in 2002.

Thats reason why I want to know whats the difference in EE version and which specialisation "really" works in this combat if we dont count just brute force melee attacks My mage hero wasnt much useful for this match with his magic neither with physical fight.. Dakkon, Morte were used for heavy melee attacks, without bigger effect in this case. This boss was like a heavy tank, unstoppable.

Mage isn´t really good for this fight. So yeah melee and spanking route it is. Did it with Dak´kon only, didn´t even know about the Morte trick.

This sounds like an easier combat than one from original. My Dakkon was tough companiíon, but not enought for Transcendental, he died only later than others.
