Extremely slow fps when zooming out

Hello. When playing this game it my fps go by 15 fps and when I bring out the map it goes to 1 fps and I have to close down my pc altogether because Im stuck in the map... I used to run this game extremely well before I decided to purchase the game. So I think the issue should be on the configuration file or something.

Try to choose an alternate renderer in Options - Graphics.
