I think i read that you need 24 wisdom or 24 int to succeed which means you had a dialog heavy npc anyway and asked every npc everything and got many necessary dialog options during the whole gameplay (most likely from Ravel and so on).
Otherwise just leave all your companions in Sigil and go into the fortress alone, just don't die because you have no revies without companions.
