[SPOILER] alignment and Ignus questions

I start new playthrough now where i will be trying to get Balance in all things achievement (stay true neutrall till the end of game). I also want to have Ignus as my companion, but this guy betrays us if we are...well, wikis tell some different things. Some say that he betrays if we are neutral or good, some that we need to be more lawful or more good.

So with my reasoning of lawful/chaos, good/evil points mechanics i guess if we keep being neutral but A BIT evil/chaotic, he still stays with us and instead vhailor attack us, right? Anyone can confirm that?

I also not sure if killing Trias (or sparing him) does any significant shift in character so it can be a bit risky.

Damn those achievements, need so many playthroughs

Eh, one of the reasons that they are just silly.
