Game Ending Bug - Lady of Pain

Hey all,

So my game was abruptly and unexpectedly cut short by drawing the Lady of Pain's ire. Unexpectedly, because I did nothing countless guides have told me not to do aside from long ago becoming a disciple of Aoskar, which got me mazed. I've never killed civilians, never killed a dabus, and never even bought the Lady of Pain doll.

The first time it happened, I isolated the event to the Mordon Maze. In my last "safe" saved game before pissing off the Lady, I've already got Nordrom and have killed the maze wizard. If I go back to the maze and then return to Sigil, I'm now in the Lady's disfavor.

At first I thought that maybe constructs were considered innocents if I ignored them and attacked, but it happens if I just pop in to the maze and back out again. I've never seen any warnings about traveling to the maze, but whatever, I just avoided it and decided to check out Undersigil. Lo and behold, when I emerge from Undersigil, I've just pissed off the Lady again.

Any suggestions? I'd like to finish the damn game but am not sure I'm ready to start again from the beginning, and without knowing the cause I don't know how to avoid this in the future.

Ever find a fix? I'm stuck without a way back to the Clerk's Ward or Upper ward, just moping around with the damned collectors. 26 hours on this save, I'd rather not have to restart.
