About Rushing to Become a Mage (small spoilers are ok)
Hi to all. :ss13ok::cybereye:

So i've just left the Mortuary & i'm now i'm The Hive: Mortuary area.
I couldn't help myself, so i've peeked at a list of quests.

What i'm wondering is, if i rush to Ragpicker's Square & become a Mage, can i then go back to The Hive: Mortuary area & continue as if i'd never left the area, or will i be locked-out of some of the quests due to leaving the area?

Thanks in advance for any & all answers. :ss13ok::cybereye:

That said, Ragpicker's Square is part of the Hive, and it's a long journey from there to the Lower Ward. You're not likely to accidentally travel that far before doing whatever you choose with the quest involving Mar. Or any of the quests in the Hive, for that matter.

The most likely way you'll "miss" a quest will be angering an individual or group and having their hostility keep you from engaging in dialogue. Some groups are really easy to anger, and others you have to really work to end up in combat with, but I'd say it's one of the most frequent reasons people post with "I can't finish this quest!" So save often.

That's not even counting mutually exclusive quests. You simply can't have every possible outcome in a single play-through of the game.

Nope, that would be some pretty embarassing design if that was the case. You're free to explore Sigil to your heart's content without breaking much if at all of anything. :)

Only reason i was wondering was because i noticed this note on the Torment Wiki entry for Mar:

Note: This quest must be completed before entering the Lower Ward area, otherwise it will fail.

I wasn't planning on reading too much of the wiki, but that entry made me kinda worried i could miss quests if i didn't do a bit of research first.
(although i guess thats what a 2nd playthrough is for, lol)
