Planescape Torment graphics in Icewind Dale
Is there a way to make Icewind Dale Remastered look as good as Planescape Torment Remastered does? I tried asking in the Icewind Dale forums but nobody is responding the forum isn't too active, thanks.

Well, for example the animations and stuff look a lot smoother in Planescape Torment Remastered compared to Icewind Dale Remastered, did I miss an option maybe? You'd have to see for yourself, I can't really explain it things just look a lot better on this and I assumed Icewind Dale Remastered would have the same remastered animations and where things look more anti-aliased, maybe it's just for Planescape.

Neither of these games is "remastered", PST just used to have better graphics originally. Characters models are sprites, they're pre-rendered, you can't just transfer animations from one to another or do much of anything with them, really.

Icewind Dale pretty much straight up imported assets from Baldur's Gate like character sprites and their animations. The interface was also basically just reskinned. PST on the other hand was more of a customized job. The interface was different, the character sprites were made new, which stylistically PST stands out more. Characters are larger, and animate differently. I prefer PST's look and feel. Also I heard that PST used a custom dialog writing tool that allowed Black Isle to make PST's dialog heavy quest design and reactivity. I think Beamdog talked about how that was an obstacle for making an Enhanced Edition of PST (long before they officially confirmed they're making one)
